About Maggie

From the west coast of Ireland, banjo player and singer Maggie Carty, comes form a family steeped in Irish traditional music. Bringing a fresh perspective to this century spanning tradition, her band performs kick-ass Irish tunes with driving rhythms with blues undertones and soul-stirring folk songs to make the heart sing.
